Referral Programme Terms

Last updated: 1 August 2026. These Referral Programme Terms (“Referral Terms”) govern participation in the Win-a-Lotto referral programme, operated by WIN777 (Pty) Ltd. These Referral Terms supplement and are incorporated into the Terms of Service.

1. Overview

Paid members (Basic, Pro, and Elite) may earn account credits by referring new users who upgrade to a paid plan. Referral credits can be applied against Content Pack purchases on win-a-lotto.com. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.

2. Eligibility

• You must hold an active paid subscription (Basic, Pro, or Elite) to participate.
• Free-tier members may not generate or share referral links.
• You must have a valid account in good standing (no active suspension or Terms violation).
• Self-referrals (referring yourself using a second account) are strictly prohibited and will result in account termination.

3. How It Works

1. Log in and navigate to My Profile → Referrals to find your unique referral link.
2. Share your referral link with friends, family, or followers through any personal channel.
3. When someone clicks your link and registers a new account, they are tagged as your referral for 30 days (“attribution window”).
4. If the referred person upgrades to any paid plan within the 30-day window, a credit reward is triggered.
5. The credit is held for 14 days (“hold period”) before being released to your wallet, to allow for chargebacks and cancellations.
6. After the hold period, the credit is automatically released and can be applied to Content Pack purchases.

4. Credit Rewards

Credits are awarded based on your plan at the time the referred user converts, not at the time you shared the link.

5. Attribution Rules

• The attribution window is 30 calendar days from the first click on your referral link.
• Only the most recently clicked referral link counts. If a referred person clicks two different referral links, the last click wins.
• The referred person must register a new account — referring existing Win-a-Lotto members does not qualify.
• The referred person must complete payment and maintain an active paid subscription for the full 14-day hold period. If they cancel or charge back during the hold period, no credit is released.

6. Credit Wallet

• Credits are displayed in the Credits tab of your My Profile page.
• Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
• Credits may only be redeemed against Content Pack purchases (Single Reveal or 10-Pack). They cannot be applied to subscription fees.
• Credits have no monetary value and cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another account.
• If your account is closed, any unused credits are forfeited.

7. Promotional Use

You may share your referral link through personal social media, email, messaging, or in-person recommendation. You may not:

• Post your referral link on coupon sites, discount aggregators, or public forums in a spammy manner.
• Purchase advertising that presents win-a-lotto.com in a misleading way or makes false claims about the Service.
• Use the Win-a-Lotto name, logo, or branding in paid advertising without our prior written consent.
• Offer incentives (cash, gifts, etc.) to people to click your referral link.

Violation of these restrictions may result in forfeiture of all pending credits and account suspension.

8. Programme Changes and Termination

WIN777 (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral programme at any time with 14 days’ notice. Credits already released to your wallet before the termination date will remain valid for 90 days from the termination date. Pending (held) credits at the time of termination will be released or forfeited at our sole discretion, depending on the circumstances.

9. Tax Implications

Credits received through the referral programme may have tax implications depending on your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to declare any taxable benefit arising from referral credits to the relevant tax authority. WIN777 (Pty) Ltd does not provide tax advice.

10. Fraud and Abuse

We actively monitor for referral fraud, including self-referrals, manufactured clicks, coordinated sign-up rings, and other gaming of the system. Accounts found to be engaging in referral fraud will be suspended, all pending credits forfeited, and the matter may be referred to law enforcement where applicable.

11. Governing Law

These Referral Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from the referral programme shall be resolved in accordance with clause 16 of the Terms of Service.
