EuroMillions — How to Play, Jackpots & Number Frequency Guide

What is EuroMillions?

EuroMillions is a transnational lottery played across nine European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. It is operated jointly by Française des Jeux (France), Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (Spain), and Camelot (UK). Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday at 20:45 CET in Paris.

How to Play EuroMillions

Players choose 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. Both drums must be matched for the jackpot. The Lucky Stars are drawn from a separate drum.

EuroMillions Jackpot Cap

The EuroMillions jackpot is capped at €250 million. When the jackpot reaches this level and is not won, it rolls down to the next prize tier until it is won — this is called a “must-be-won” draw. The biggest EuroMillions jackpot on record was €230 million.

EuroMillions Number Frequency

EuroMillions has been running since 2004, providing an extensive draw history for frequency analysis. Win-a-Lotto tracks the main pool (1–50) and Lucky Stars (1–12) separately and flags hot, cold, and overdue numbers.
